I tried setting up a firewire(shared storage) ORACLE 10 G RAC CLUSTER with two nodes using OCFS/ASM

Unable to make two concurrent logins to the firewire Hard Disk
I tried setting up a firewire(shared storage) ORACLE 10 G RAC CLUSTER with two nodes using OCFS/ASM
I'm using the following configuration:
2 pcs each 512mb RAM, 2-NIC's, 1-ieee1394
HDD: Maxtor One Touch 200GB w/Firewire
white box enterprise linux 3 - 2.4.21-27.0.2.ELorafw1 kernel patched from:
Node 1 has access to the external drive:
dmesg | grep sbp2
ieee1394: sbp2: Query logins to SBP-2 device successful
ieee1394: sbp2: Maximum concurrent logins supported: 3
ieee1394: sbp2: Number of active logins: 1
ieee1394: sbp2: Logged into SBP-2 device
ieee1394: sbp2: Node[01:1023]: Max speed [S400] - Max payload [2048]
AT node 2
i found the following error message by running "dmesg | grep sbp2" command as root
ieee1394: sbp2: Query logins to SBP-2 device successful
ieee1394: sbp2: Maximum concurrent logins supported: 3
ieee1394: sbp2: Number of active logins: 1
ieee1394: sbp2: Error logging into SBP-2 device - login failed
Please do suggest where i was wrong and how to proceed next.

I think you might have seen our post on Oracle tech forum (http://forums.oracle.com/forums/thre...range=15983320).
We too have the same issue. We are trying now with two different PCI cards. One from TI and another from VIA. Keep checking the above link. We might post it there if we have some updates.
