make module problems with kernel 2.6.0 test 3
Hello. When i try to compile my kernel i get varius driver errors. I have searched for the specific driver in the xconfig but have not been able to find anything. Is there a way that i can find the driver and disable it somehow?.. I have tried doing a monolithic install but still had problems with the driver. It was enabled even though i didn't see it in the xconfig anywhere.
the driver was riscom 8. I had problems with a few other drivers too. Are there any techniques to get around these make module errors?
here is the error:
drivers/char/riscom8.c:135: confused by earlier
errors, bailing out
make[2]: *** [drivers/char/riscom8.o] Error 1
make[1]: *** [drivers/char] Error 2
make: *** [drivers] Error 2
Thanks,
Brad

Well, what problems is it exactly that you're having?
