    Problem with surf net under RH8

    Hi all
    I just install my RH and config the xDSL with no problem
    ,it can connect to the ISP but it can't go to any of website

    pls help,din I did anything wrong

    do you have your ISP's DNS server entered in /etc/resolf.conf? That is a classic problem, you need to have

    nameserver 192.168.0.1
    nameserver 192.168.0.100

    (only replace the IP with your ISP's DNS servers) - ONLY 1 IP/LINE

    Hi thkx

    I just change IP address and it solve (from 192.168.1.1 to 203.100.1.1)
    dun understand also :P
