    That won't hinder your progress at all, if the MBR is overwritten, windows can't do anything about it, and it can't stop it from being overwritten. Make sure you install LILO or GRUB to the MBR of /dev/hda.
    200mhz Pentium 1 with MMX, 128mb RAM, 10gb Seagate HDD. Beastly.

    im sorry i may have mislead you i belive that it is a powertool for winxp that you have a place to modify the mbr and save the changes, however i warn you this may cause some damage
