http://www.tux.org/hypermail/linux-t...-Nov/0035.html
it seems its a common fact that LNE 10/100 Linksys card won't work on Debian without ********. (according to results spread throughout google)
... but i think i found what can be used as a howto... http://www.tux.org/hypermail/linux-t...-Nov/0035.html
guy didnt get the card to work but then finally found out he didnt even have the ethernet plugged into the back of the comp
but since it's my card, and he did all that to get his working, think that'd get me up?
... the debian installer doesnt work when it trys to get the DHCP... i know dhcp works... so that must mean its not working ... aka not reconized...
so do you think if i followed that guys procedure it'd get me up and running too? -- or think I should just shell out 20 bucks for a new card?
