dual booting with sata and ide
I'm building a new gaming computer which i plan to install gentoo to.
I plan on buying a 250 seagate SATA hard drive, but I also have an existing 80GB IDE Drive
will I be able to:
put both drives into my computer, install windows to the entire 80gb drive, then gentoo to the 250 sata, then set up grub to allow booting to the 80gb dri ve when I want to use windows
basically, I want the two operating systems to be completely separate on different drives, so that i can completely remove windows xp from my computer by pulling out the IDE drive (which I will do if I can get half-life 2 running well on gentoo) and modifying grub.conf
