Wrote over linux MBR after installing windows.
I have had windows and yoper duel booting for a long time now, but i got some spyware on windows and formated it so i could re-install. However, when i did this, it wrote over my linux MBR!! Now it just boots stright into windows without showing the screen that lets me choose which operating system to boot. How to i recover my yoper MBR?

If you were using grub you might want to check out this tutorial:http://www.linuxforums.org/tutorials...ial-19999.html, though I think uses lilo be default, i'm not sure how you con re-install lilo though

I've heard the GAG bootloader is another good option in a situation like this.

Any one of them will work quite well. Now you know why, even in this day and age, it's handy to create a boot floppy
