    gentoo installation went bad......

    i just spent the past day and a half installing this and now it dont work. i still get my old LILO boot loader...was i supposed to put grub on the primary drive with windows? or the second drive with linux? i think that might be the problem.....and i did start from stage1 maybe i screwed something up? im not sure

    Hmm, it seems that you live in the town of Brock Lesnar. Anyhow, as far as I can remember, I always left Windows on the first partition on any drive. As for GRUB or LILO, it won't matter which of these drive it's on as long as the BIOS is set to boot from the specific drive with the one of these in the MBR.
