Is FC4 really worth it or is there better?

I have been told by lots of people to get Fedora core 3 or 4.

i currently have Mandrake 10.0. I have used FC3 for a brief period and i liked much better than Mandrake.

is it worth getting FC4 or shold i opt for another distro?

My conclusion is that FC4 was not meant for me. I found it unstable and a hell to (custom) install. Don't know exactly why. Also the odd versions of Fedora core are in my opinion more stable than the even versions. I use whitebox now, which is a clone of RHEL 4. but with yum brought in from Fedora.

trry FC4 on an unused space of your HDD and see for yourself.
If you think it's stable for you, use it. else stick with FC3/wait for FC5 or search an alternative.

As was mentioned before, I'd recommend trying it and seeing for yourself. Only you can say whether or not a distro is right for you.
