Debian 3.1
So I boot from the first cd and everything goes fine, after its done it boots into my "new debian system" which is all text. I configure the clock and all that crap and when I am done it is still all text how do I get to the GUI. I only used 1 of the 7 cds. Thanks for any help.

Try typing
Code:startx

If you didn't install a GUI, startx won't help.
Or whatever Desktop environment/Window Manager you like.Code:apt-get install kde

If it's installed, it should start automaticly- you shouldn't have to type startx. Mine did, anyway.
