Necessary Files for MINIMUM X-Windows -- Pl. Help
Dear Linux Gurus,
I am new to the following Problem.
I have Console User Interface (CUI)...the traditional UNIX interface.
I want to manually download rpm files to enable GUI i.e
Linux Desktop (GUI).
I dont even need KDE etc. Its enough if I have xterm to work.
How to identify the files to enable the MINI-X Windows for my
Linux.- the minimum most possible.
Thank you for the anticipated help.
shiva.

Which distro?
I don't know the answer, but if I had to guess I would install packages for:
- xorg-x11
- xorg-x11-server
- xorg-x11-fonts
- xorg-x11-libs
You should get complaints about dependencies if this is wrong, that will hopefully lead you to the solution.
