Which installation type do I run for an apache web server?
Hello Linux masters,
I am starting up my first Linux box
and I want to, in the long run, have an apache web server running on Linux but I am unsure of which linux 9 installation type to run:
Personal Desktop
Workstation
Server
Custom
Well .. server sounds like the right one but it requires 5 gigs which I would like to avoid giving up.
Any ideas?

which install
i take it that you mean RedHat 9 not linux 9.
i would do a custom. ensure you take gnome (which should be default) the administrative tools, BIND, mysql database server.
the rest of the defaults should be ok. you will get apache installed with php support by default.
Anyway just install any of them except server (coz you want a GUI). and you can always add more packages later. No trees were harmed during the creation of this message. Its made from a blend of elephant tusk and dolphin meat.
