    manual partition

    hi every one,
    can anyone give an detailed account of manual partition in any LINUX os,nd can we install windows nd linux in different drives.

    Using fdisk, cfdisk, Qtparted, etc. You can make your own partitions, yes.

    For the second question: I dual boot with Windows on my master and Linux on the slave - two different disks and it works just fine. Your master should be /dev/hda and the slave is /dev/hdb. Use the information to install specifically to a disk.
