Burning ISO...
I decided to try out Mandrake 10.1, so I downloaded all of the CD's (all 3 of them) and then started Alcohol 120% . I burned the ISO onto a blank CD, but after it said that it was successfully completed...nothing was on the disk!?
Sorry if this is the wrong forum. Thanks in advance for the replies.

This is a common mistake, you're probably burning the .iso file directly into the disk when you actually need to use the "Burn ISO Image" option.

I used to have this trouble with Alcohol 120, but it was program related. Do you have any other burning software? I was able to do the same in Nero without any trouble.

Re: i need to find iso file
Make sure you're burning "from a CD Image" and when you bring up the dialog to find it, make sure the little "show all files" dialog is set to show ISO files. I think the default is Nero image files.

You can narrow Nero's down to (.iso), you also want to go to the folder you installed it in :P
