How do you mean? Do you intend to connect the modem to the linux box or to make the linux box connect through the windows box?

Solved.
Hi,
Thanks for your effort. I spent sometime searching the internet and found the PPPoE client software I need and installed on my Linux box. It is now working and I am serving the net. It is my 1st Linux box internet experience. It is great so far ! Thanks.

I remember when I first got linux installed. I had to write ppp script to get online. Luckily I am a very patient person.

I didn't have wvdial at the time. This was back in 1996. It was either write the ppp scripts or no net access. Well I had a lot of sleepless nights until I got that working.

It's so unfair! I didn't get to use linux (or any other UNIX for that part) until after 2000. I think it was in 2001 or so I installed linux for the first time (and then I used RH-6.1).
