I was just wondering if there is a way to install Linux Dualboot from a external USB CD-ROM? I do have 10Gb of unpartitioned space on my hdd.
Thanks...

That shouldn't be a problem assuming you can boot from the external cd-rom. I could be wrong though.

I was able to boot from the external drive when I downloaded USB Drivers for DOS, but the issue is I have no internal CD-ROM. My BIOS doesn't have the option to select boot from USB. Bummer HUH?

I tried and the link, and it was the same issue I'm having. Then the reply to the post had this link for USB Jumpdrive to floppy:
http://www.tldp.org/LDP/LGNET/current/okopnik1.html
Checked that URL, and no luck for the files. I have not mentioned I do have a good working floppy drive lol
Thanks

Is there a way to copy specific files to the C:\ to have it recognize the files to direct it to the USB CD-ROM?
