    Hi,
    I search about that error (rpm failed) to end up with the solution:

    -Add the name of the unpackage files to the %files section of the spec file (/usr/src/redhat/SPECS/xxxx.spec

    It worked for me too! I spend so many hours reading through RPM SPEC documentation and didn't find another solution.
