Mandriva install probs
Allright, I am trying to install a Mandriva linux 10.2 2005 limited edition onto my computer, but it gets stuck at some point. It starts off with detecting USB devices and stops in the middle of it.
The text says:
needs "blank"
succeeded "blank" And it keeps going until it says:
needs "usbkbd"
and that's where it stops. The last thing in the MSG says:
<4>ohci_hcd 0000:00:3.0: Unlink after no-IRQ? Controller is probably using the wrong IRQ.
I don't really know what the problem is, and I've tried restarting, but it stops at the same place each time. So, does anyone have any suggestions?

I don't know for sure, but the first place I would look is in your computer's BIOS. You should be able to get to that by pressing "del" or "F10" or "F2" depending on the computer. I don't know if USB is covered uder plug-and-play, but usually, the BIOS should be set with PnP off. Also check the settings in BIOS for the USB ports.
/IMHO
//got nothin'
///this use to look better
