    Trying to partion with everything agaist me

    want to partion my hardrive to dual boot linux but...

    1) no money for Partion Magic etc
    2) no windows CD for reinstalling

    also all the programs I find to resize hardrives require me to reinstall boot drivers and the such. I am guessing that this involves the Windows CD but more importantly i'm not sure how to do it. So basicly.....

    you could download and burn a knoppix live cd, it has qtparted on it which is a partitioning program.
