how to install linux from a hard disk
guys i want to install mandrake linux 10.2 from my hard disk without using cds or any floppies..i know that there is a way to boot from a floopy and then give teh path to teh madrake location on the hard and then complete normally..NO..i want to install completely from teh hard disk ..without booting from a floppy or cd rom..using lilo..is ther a way to do so?

i would have thought you would need to boo off something that's removable eg floppy/cdrom.

i don't have cdrom and my floppy drive has some problems....

I really don't think that there is a way to do this. But I am not sure, Ill have a look.
