VMware, redhat FCore 1.0, LCD problems
Hi there guys
i have installed this redhat Fcore 1.0 in Vmware in my old monitor a samsung 19inch CRT fine, i can get into kde and all.....
i have since bought a cheap LCD monitor a CMV 17inch 1280*1024, and i want my linux to run in vmware..........
and when i install a new version of Fcore1 redhat, it gave me an error saying that my xfree86 cannot detect the monitor, and i was redirected back to the shell with no kde....
how do i fix this problem...??
i have gone to /etc/X11/Xfree86.conf
but what shall i change in there??
my video card should not matter, as it is using the vmware settings
thanks guys

it should not matter too much, vmware provides the Xserver with settings during the detection process
