why hidden partition?
hi
so I partitioned my hard disk with partition magic and the new partition is a hidden partition. I unhided it but I still don't see it when I go to "my computer". can I still install linux in there ?

"my computer" sounds like a Windows thing. Don't trust Windows to understand anything about your Linux. Do your install and trust what Linux tells you.

Yes, you can still install linux there.

And also that's why you never eat cheese...ah as i was saying, windows doesn't like linux partitions so it wont show them, you can still install to them.
