CD-RW won't eject (not a mounting problem!)
I am having trouble getting my TDK401248 to eject, with or without a cd in it. It is not mounted (checked) and when it has a music cd it won't play. Can get the DVD player to eject without a hitch, play music and data, and rip audio just fine. The cables are firmly attached to the TDK and it works just fine under WinXP. Anybody got any ideas? BTW this is under RH8.

How are you trying? (ie. what do you do when you eject it? Pust the button on it?)

I've tried pushing the button, using the eject command (i.e.- eject /mnt/cdrom), and using music programs to try and eject the cd. I even tried reading an audio cd from the drive to no avail.
