    installing Gnome 2.4 on redhat 9.0

    any GURUS have a better idea to install gnome 2.4 on redhat9 ?

    what is the difference between gnome2.2 shipped with redhat 9 and ximian desktop environment???

    Gnome is a graphical desktop enviornment. (http://www.gnome.org/about/)
    Apparently Ximian Desktop is an enterprise Linux distro. I'm not familiar with it.
