Install Fedora along with a windows xp pro.
Hi,
I don't know much about Linux but i am looking forward to learn it.
I am wantering if there is anyone to guide me to install Fedora on a hard drive that i also have windows XP Pro. on it.
It is 200GB one partision, only windows on it.

i'm not too sure but i think that the fedora installer has tools for partition resizing. if not then you can use parted or qtparted.
Here's why Linux is easier than Windows:
Package Managers! Apt-Get and Portage (among others) allow users to install programs MUCH easier than Windows can.
Hardware Drivers. In SuSE, ALL the hardware is detected and installed automatically! How is this harder than Windows' constant disc changing and rebooting?

There are many questions on this topic and many answers to it. You should search the forums. Dual-booting (having two operating systems on one computer and being able to choose which one to load at startup) is very easy to set up.
