Reinstalling Grub bootmanager
I have a dual boot system that is running XP and RHL 9.
I want to reinstall XP on the same partition as it is now and leave RHL9 untouched. By doing this my Grub boot loader should be overwritten by Windows. What would be the best way of getting into linux andreinstalling the Grub bootmanager afterwards?I am on a journey to mastering Linux and I got a bloody long way to go!!!

Put in the red hat 9 install cd and choose repair and somewhere in there should be the option of re-installing GRUB.

I havent used grub at all myself, im a lilo fan. But you have to be able to rewrite grub to mbr somehow, like executing lilo. With lilo its simple, just execute lilo to rewrite mbr.
