Can't I tell linux to just install the dependencies it needs? After that, what command do I type to get into KDE?

I ran "apt-get build-dep kde" then again update; upgrade; installl kde; install x-window-system-core; install gdm. It all worked, bu startkde sais when running kpersonalizer "cannot connect to X server" .. tried startx instead, but now my colinux refused to operate any longer, the service stops when I connect to the console

    Probably should have followed http://wiki.colinux.org/cgi-bin/coLinuxASAP

Don't mind my stupidity, but could anyone have told me colinux only serves as a vnc server (and you need an additional viewer)!?!? Why can't KDE just be run in coLinux?

Thank to http://wiki.colinux.org/cgi-bin/coLinuxASAP I have been able to set up an VNC server and connect on it with RealVNC:
After you installed everything, just run "vncserver -geometry 1000x768 -depth 16" like the wiki says. I you are like me you could think the next boxed line is a command too. It isn't. It's the output you should see in coLinux telling you the VNC server is up. Now check with "ifconfig" what your inet addr is, this is the IP you have to connect to with your VNC viewer, like 192.168.0.40:1. After inputting your pwd you should see KDE!
Should you have forgotten your pwd, you can reset it by typing "vncpasswd" within coLinux
