    ok i downloaded visual basic off the net and i could make it install on windows but i have no clue how to install it on unix its not from a cd its just a zip file if someone could help me id be happy

    Ahh...firstly, is that not illegal? Secondly, why not look into Gambas. It is a programming language and IDE similar to that of VB.
