i have done it and if you are working with the factory drives then you need to do one with x and the other with linux or they just dont perform well. i have an imac that i put FC4 on and had OS x on and it had 512 meg of mem and it just couldnt handle it. It does however like Ubuntu with the whole hard drive devoted to it. the only problem i have found with the imacs is that ubuntu and FC4 did this is that when i install it at first the res is about as high as my friends Ipaq.
