Newbie Mozilla installation probs :-(
Hi,
Running redhat 7.1 'out the box'
downloaded and unpacked latest Mozilla.
Run ./mozilla-installer command and getting error:
/lib/libc.so.6 version GLIB_2.2.4 not found
however I have checked that directory and it is there (in light blue)
anyone any ideas and how would I go about fixing?
thanks

Ever consider upgrading? Redhat 7.3 is the latest of the 7.x series.
Also, perhaps an older Mozilla would work? Release 1.3 is the latest release I could find with Redhat rpm installer files. Try downloading the biggest files: mozilla 1.3, and maybe mozilla-mail and mozilla-chat. Install as root by running rpm --install mozilla-1.3-0_rh7.i386.rpm from the directory you saved it .
That should be all you need to do for rpm files. It makes installing stuff a lot easier.
