hey guys.
i had a dual boot set up with FC2 and winXP.
i reformatted my linux drive from within windows (getting rid of linux for more storage space)

need a little help with grub
hey guys.
i had a dual boot set up with FC2 and winXP.
i reformatted my linux drive from within windows (getting rid of linux for more storage space)
now when i boot it tries to load grub and then just sits there. it never actually gets into the grub menu's
is there a "safe mode" of sorts for grub that will allow me to fix this?
or should i just wipe my MBR clean and then try to fix windows?

Boot with your Win XP install disk, type "R" to get you into repair mode.
Once you are at a command line, type "fixmbr".
or
If you have a floppy drive and a Win98 startup disk, you can boot with that, once you get to the A: prompt, type
fdisk /mbr
And Grub will be goneHow to know if you are a geek.
