Hi ,
I have a laptop with windows XP running on it .I have purchasesd a USB external hard disk .Can I use this external hard disk for installing linux .Any tips on how to make this work.

Hi thanx for the inputs .I connected my USB hard disk and turned off and on my laptop to check the BIOS , but I did not find any option to boot from the USB connected disk .I just find the usual options of hard disk, floppy,hard disk and network boot .Is there any thing else that I could try.........
