I am using Rehad Linux Enterpise 4.0 servers. Usually, I used ftp://xxxx method to install the servers. Currently, we have new model of SuperMicro that ES 4.0 does not have i/o driver. I download xxx.img and xxx.rpm controller disk driver files from Supermicro files. However, both files are to big to fit in floppy disk. I could not utilize Linux boot drive installation. In FTP installation, where should I put the devise driver and any files I need to modify so it will recognize new driver? I will be appreciated information and tips.
