    Unable to GUI screen after installing redhat linux 9

    What kind of CPU/harddrives/video card do you have? Is there a reason why you're using Redhat 9? It's nearly 3 years old at this point. You'll likely have much better luck installing a newer distribution such as Fedora Core 4 or something based on Redhat Enterprise Linux, like CentOS.
