NO linux distro will boot up on my laptop

I think there's something wrong with my laptop cause no linux will even boot with it! For example when I load up Knoppix, it'll load like "\dev\hdc" or something for 30 min. then the screen will go blank forever until I turn it off. Basically, the same thing happens for whoppix, auditor, and kubuntu.

I have an Athlon 64 3200+. I downloaded the AMd 64 version of Kubuntu, but still no luck loading it.
