    minimal/best linux install to run vmware

    Hello,

    I am searching for an instalation document how to install linux with vmware on top of it, or if someone can tell me what the best linux flavour is for this and what options to be installed I would be thankfull.

    You could use pretty much any distro, a very light one is DSL (damn small linux). Info on installing VMWare (on linux) is here (follow the tar installer instructions):
