    older video drivers

    My 'ancient' pc project is now almost complete. All I need now is a location for downloading the Nvidia Legacy drivers for my GeForce DDR card. After a bit of investigation, I've discovered that my card is not supported by the latest driver set, so does anyone have the drivers they can email to me or point me in the right direction. My google search proved fruitless.

    This seems to be the last Nvidia driver that contains support for the GEFORCE 256. The next issue after this one states in the readme file that this card is no longer supported.

    **update**

    My comp locks-up/freezes on the splash screen I can only presume it's the video drivers as it was sweet before that.

    I'm going to format my hd and reinstall Mandriva 2006 for the 10th and final time and just accept the fact that I wont be able to run 3d apps on my old PC...
