RH 7.3 on PowerEdge 1800 installation problem
I've tried to install RedHat 7.3 on Dell PowerEdge 1800 and i've got this problem:
The CD booted up, gone into installation as usual.
After selecting "Language" & "Keyboard", there's this Question "What type of media contains the package to be installed". The only option I have is "Hard Drive". After choosing "Hard Drive" it says that it couldnt find the install image. And Im stuck
I tried installing RedHat9.0 and it works fine. But I really need RedHat7.3 instead of 9.0. Please help.

If you don't mind my asking, why do you need Redhat 7.3 over 9? '9' should offer all and more than 7.3, and both are relatively ancient in the modern day world of Linux.

well.. basically i need PostgreSQL 7.2 which comes with RedHat 7.3. Any newer version will not do any good because of some legacy software i need to transfer from an old server to a new server.

quick fix
load your install disc onto the existing windows partition..
c:\linux\*
*= disc number
or alternatively you could put all the contents of both in the same folder..
cant think of any files that have duplicate names but try and find out..
done the same years ago but cant remember a lot about it..
