    Fedora Core 4 Help PLEASE



    Complete noob here guys... I dont know how to install anything in linux... Im trying ti install dcfldd but after i download it I dont know where to put it to install or even where to start. The file Im trying to in is a dcfldd-1.0.tar.gz. I get it to my desktop and dont have a clue after that. I need step by step what do... very sad

    Please help me out someone...

    Specs:
    AMD 64 +3000
    1024 Kingston
    80 gig hdd
    Abit AV8 mobo
    MSI 6600 GT (which i dont know how to install drivers)
