    Yay I'm Getting Linux!

i got a bad virus in windows that keeps it from starting up so that finally pushed me over the edge. i'm using a live ubuntu cd now. i need to format my harddrive before i install either ubuntu or zenwalk. what formAT type and access path do i use? it gives me some options i don't know what they mean. Windows Virtual Fat (vFat) is that like FAT32?

You should just be able to start the install, as the installer should format the drive when it sets up the partitions.

I like to use ext3, but some here might suggest one of the reiser variations.
