    Exclamation Sata seagate baraccuda having problem being detected.............

    Hello everyone.I'm having the sata probs.When i tried installing mandriva 2006 from boot dvd given by a mag named linux for you the installation proceeds upto the agreement menu.Then a list of drivers is shown.Mine is VIA VT8251 chipset for sata controller my mobo is asus a8vmx
    hdd is seagate 80 gb and hynix ddr pc 400 512 mb ram.There are patches available now for the via vt8251 driver.I don no how to use it.Please help me.
