up2date problem

Hi there

i try to update my linux but i get this message

[root@linux /]# up2date --register
There was an SSL error: [('SSL routines', 'SSL3_GET_SERVER_CERTIFICATE', 'certificate verify failed')]


i tried to reinstall SSL but without success

can aybody help?

i think this is a known problem with somethign on the redhat update site. i dotn use fedora/redhat tho so i cant tellu how to fix it. It seems nearly everyone els edoes tho so it shoudltn take logn before u get a useful answer

Yeah, RedHat's certificates expired some months ago, so you just need to update them, and you'll be all good to go. Check it out at http://rhn.redhat.com/.
