Installation problem
My computer shows this message after loading the vmlinuz file and after uncompressing the kernel sucessfully.
mount : /dev/hdc is write protected, mounting read-only mode
mount : Mounting /dev/hdc on /mnt/cdrom Failed : Invalid argument
mounting proc on /proc failed : device or resource busy
exec : 84 : /initrd/sbin/init : not found
Kernel panic - not syncing : Attempted to Kill init !
I wonder why this is happening. Does it have to do anything with CD-ROM?

which distro are you trying to use, and did you burn the installation media yourself? If so, check the md5sum of the iso, and try burning the iso at a slow speed.
Life is complex, it has a real part and an imaginary part.
