No network conectivity with Fedora Core
Hey all,
I'm a newbie so go easy on me.
I just installed Fedora Core for about the 5th time and i cant get it to get an IP address from my ISP.
As a test I installed Red Hat 9 and i have no problems there so with my current install of Fedora I selected no firewall to see if maybe it was some thing there... no luck.
I have a 3Com 3c905 it is detected fine by the system but when it boots it fails to get an IP and when i try to activate the NIC i get the message "Determining IP information for eth0...Failed." I have it set to automatically obtain and IP address with dhcp and have no routers or anything in between my box and the cable modem.
What am I missing?
Thanks,
Casey

Does your ISP use PPPoE or anything like that?
