    S-ATA on gentoo


    I want to install gentoo linux on an S-ATA hdd and in the online-install-help there's written that I have to load the ataraid modules for a raid before installing. is it the same for one hdd on a S-ATA controler without a raid-system?
    make install not love

    I downloaded the experamental live-cd from gentoo which has a 2.6.x kernel and SATA support it has nothing to do with RAID.
