Hi !
I have a RS6000 43P-150 machine wich i have installed SUSE Linux 7.1
on. The installation worked perfectly, but the machine won't boot of the HDD why ?

RS 6000 43P-150 problems !
Hi !
I have a RS6000 43P-150 machine wich i have installed SUSE Linux 7.1
on. The installation worked perfectly, but the machine won't boot of the HDD why ?
I have a two drive SCSI-RAID installed
need advice !

What error or abnormal behavior do you get?

Hi !
No behavior at all the damn thing wont boot from HDD att all
and i dont really know that much on were to fix that. In the SMS i cant
even find the HDD as a bootchoice. I know i get all the stuff in there because
when booting in to the installed system from the installation it works
and i can run all the programs from the HDD it just dont boot from HDD
at Power up ! It doesn't seems to find the drive or bootcode on the drive
Heeelllpp please !

It sounds really weird. I'm thinking that it may be a broken BIOS that doesn't recognize the boot sector and thinks that the hard drive isn't bootable. What O/S was on it before? Whose the manufacturer of this computer?
