install windows first then install linux with the bootloader on the mbr.
even if you reinstall windows it will just mark the linux partition inactive.
you can then update your linux distro and it will put the bootloadr back on the mbr.
you can do this numerous times.
I will sometimes clean out my hard disk after a while to get rid of all the extra junk.
I reinstall windows to a folder (windows.000) instead of the default windows folder.then erase the original folder.
when booting into windows it asks for windows1 windows2 windows 3 etc lol.
my friends arelike how many versions of windows do you have?
