Grub Error
Hello,
I have 2 hard drives on my pc. I have windows on my main 100 gb hd. I wanted "linux xp Desktop" on my secondary 40 gb hdd. I ran my image disk and chose the second harddrive. I am new to linx on a pc. I did not like the linix so i took my seconddrive back out and put windows on it and into another pc and now I get a "GRUB hard disk error" unless i put that second drive in again
then it takes me to a black screen that says "grub>". any way I can get this back to boot up normal with windows with out losing any data on my primary drive?
Thank You

Boot up off your original windows XP CD-ROM disk. When it gives you the option use the recovery console. When it eventually gives you a command prompt type 'fixmbr', let that finish and reboot.
