    help in xfree


    i have change my display setting using the wizard (called redhat-config-xfree in redhat 9), and now i can not call this wizard back as changes i made prohibt the GUI to be displayed on my monitor ("Error : Sync. Out of Range"!), so how can i turn it back using the command line.

    what i do exactly is that i change the size of my display card from 8 to 16 .

    You can try holding CTRL+ALT+F1 to bring you to command line, from there you should be able to log in and run that command to reconfigure X.
