Problem Installing Mozilla
Hi! I am very new to linux, and I am still trying to install Mozilla. I have everything on my computer, but when I get to the point where I put the ./mozilla-installer command, it gives me the error that ./mozilla-installer-bin: error while loading shared libraries: libgtk-1.2.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory. Can anyone help me?

Hello, merzoe

Go here and read through this HowTo for installing software. It's quite detailed and should get you up and running:

I don't have much experience with Kubuntu, but you should be able to bypass the tarball installation route and install Mozilla easier by going to your terminal program and installing it with something like:
If Kubuntu comes with Synaptic, you should be able to use that, too.Code:sudo apt-get install mozilla
Maybe someone with Kubuntu experience can step in here with more details.oz
